Little rushed for time today but we will be reviewing the weekend's sport and forecasters league a little later. As I'm writing this Ajax have already beaten AZ 3-1 which would have a great contender for BTTS. We selected Basel last weekend to win against St.Gallen with Gashi scoring at some-point during the match. They lost the game 2-0! Guess what happens this week? Basel win 3-2 and Gashi scores and St.Gallen get stuffed 3-1 by Thun! You just couldn't make it up could you?
At 3.45pm this afternoon we see GRONINGEN V HERACLE in the top Dutch League. We fancy GRONINGEN to win here after their 3-2 victory last weekend. The home side have won the last five of the head to head meetings scoring at least two goals on each occasion so they should be each accumulator.
We look at MARSEILLE V MONTPELLIER next and this game kicks off at 4pm today. Montpellier have failed to score in their last 4 matches in Ligue 1 whilst Marseille have won their last 4 matches against Montpellier in all competitions. Marseille drew their first game of the season 3-3 with French striker GIGNAC scoring twice. He is a consideration for anytime scorer and netted 16 times last season in the league.
Whilst in France we like the look of ST ETIENNE at home to REIMS. Les Verts defeated Reims 4-0 last season and we expect them to win again today. Personally, we can't see Reims scoring but they did manage a 2-2 draw against PSG last weekend. Saint Etienne have kept a clean sheet in their last 3 home matches against Reims in all competitions so expect another here.
We have the top flight action in Sweden and Norway today and some of the games have already started. You can usually find a flurry of goals in this league but it is quite unpredictable so the best advice is to stick a BTTS&WIN treble and select whatever teams you fancy.
BRANN VS. ROSENBORG (5pm)
This game screams GOALS! Rosenborg ran out 5-2 winners last time and 4-1 the time before that so put this in for a BTTS&Win for Rosenborg. Toft Søderlund will want to add to his 11 goals for Rosenborg this season.
SARPSBORG 08 VS. MOLDE (5pm)
This is another game that screams GOALS! Molde are leading the table by six points and won 5-1 at home back in April this year. Sarpsborg are at home this time so should nick a goal so this is another option on the BTTS&Win market. Elyounoussi has netted 10 times this season for Molde so should be a contender in the FGS market.
BODØ / GLIMT VS. SANDNES ULF (5pm)
Bodo take on bottom placed Sandnes and we expect both teams to score but the statistics do not support a victory either way. Bodo have conceded 17 goals in 9 matches at home but Sandnes have only scored 6 goals away all season. They have conceded 22 goals away from home in 9 matches so we expect both to score at the very least.
Over to Sweden now and the goals do not stop over there! The bookies have become wise to this and have shortened a lot of the odds on the Btts&Win market
IFK GÖTEBORG VS. BROMMAPOJKARNA (4.30pm)
We've tipped IFK previously and they've failed to deliver nearly every-time. They should see off bottom placed Brommapojkarna today and the League's top scorer Lasse VIBE should be on target. The Danish striker is a goal machine and we fancy him to hit the target at least twice today and Bet365 are offering a measly 9/4 on him doing so. 888Sport are offering just under 3/1 on him scoring first. We think IFK will outscore their opponents today and both teams will score so definitely put this in your accumulator today.
ZAGREB VS. OSIJEK (6pm)
We tipped against Zagreb the other week and they put egg on our face when they ran out 2-0 winners so we are going to recommend them tonight against bottom of the league Osijek in the Croatian HNL League. Zagreb have taken four points from four games where as the away side have taken just a solitary point, scored 4 goals and conceded 9 goals in the process. To be on the safe side, just go for a straight victory but 7/2 on the BTTS&Win should be considered.
BORDEAUX VS. MONACO (8pm)
Two of France's well known clubs clash tonight in week two of Ligue 1 and we are struggling to get our head around as to why Monaco are 11/2 for a BTTS&Win when you have players like Berbatov and Falcao up front. Falcao is a world class striker with proven calibre and scored against Arsenal a couple of weeks ago and came off the bench last week in the defeat to Lorient and scored from the spot. Monaco were second last year in the French League on 80 points in comparison to Bordeux's 53 points so evidence points to an away week despite Monaco's minor set back last week. We are happy to ignore this and go for a Monaco win.
