BOLTON were unable to put a second goal past BLACKPOOL as they were held to a 1-1 draw.
The boxing was reasonably good. I selected every single winner correctly although James DEGALE not winning on points (he won in three rounds against an out-of-shape Antonio PERIBAN) and Tony BELLEW not winning by knock-out were slightly out in terms of method of victory. I had several winners including Kali Meehan, Jamie MCDONNELL, George GROVES, Callum SMITH and Anthony JOSHUA.
I’m so busy with work today that I don’t have any concrete bets although I will post a couple of BTTS&WINS on Twitter and Facebook.
HSV V WERDER BREMEN
I strongly fancy both HSV and Werder BREMEN both to score tomorrow. The visitors have picked up form recently and have beaten Stuggart, Mainz and Chemin (Cup) in the process. HSV have scored in their last 4 out of 5 home games and have always scored goals this season. They put 3 past Leverkusen away from home, 2 past Augsburg, 1 past Wolfsburg and two past Mainz. All of these games Werder were away fro home. HSV are 17th in the league where they occupy bottom position with Stuggart.
I can see Both Teams to Score here and / or Over 2.5 Match Goals.
CRYSTAL PALACE V LIVERPOOL
LIVERPOOL are tempting at 19/20 to beat PALACE away from home. Last season you would have barely got 4/9 on Liverpool beating the South Londoners but I think something has to give sooner or later and Brendan Rogers’s men will mount a strong run before Christmas. There is a good chance that both will score which is available at 10/11. I do believe Adam LALLANA needs to be in the starting eleven and I think he could be the pivotal point in their season should he get a succession of games. Jordan HENDERSON should start whilst there is a strong possibility BALOTELLI, who was the boxing last night, needs a late fitness test.
Most bookies are offering 19/20 on New York Red Bulls and DC United going over 2.5 goals today. These two sides always produce goals and Bradley Wright-Phillips should be a contender for anytime goalscorer. Also consider New York to score 2+ team goals, which should be available at just around evens.
NAPOLI should stroll past Cagliari. They’ve enjoyed excellent wins over Fiorentina, Roma and Verona recently and this shouldn’t be different. Higuain always looks a menace for Rafa Benitez’s side and he should be on the scoresheet today. Cagliari are more than capable of scoring so please consider this for BTTS&WIN for NAPOLI. They have scored in their last five matches home and away.
STANDARD LIEGE are pretty decent away from home and have won 5 out of 8 on their travels and are a strong possibility to beat Oostende who have won just 2 out of 8 games at home. Oostende have scored 11 at home and conceded 11 at home in 8 games. This is another contender for a BTTS&WIN for Standard Liege.
MARSEILLE are at home to Bordeaux later today and I fancy them to get on the score sheet twice with GIGNAC on the score sheet. He has found the score line regularly this season and has been rewarded with a call up to the French squad.
