Hello Loyal Sport Tipster Readers,
I’m sorry for not getting a blog up today (Thursday) but I was very busy on Wednesday night and didn’t get the opportunity. That is the first time in nearly four months that I’ve not done any type of blog. Fortunately the ever reliable Captain Jack was on hand to provide his tips. Remember my BETS are always in ORANGE
£1 BTTS&WIN Fun Bet = Brest, Dijon and ALMERE CITY 83/1 with Coral
MARSEILLE V NANTES
I’ve looked at the W-D-W market and have considered MARSEILLE @ 4/7 at home to NANTES but this doesn’t meet the criteria of a good solid even money shot but they should be placed into a double single or treble of your choice if you're going for a monster accumulator as these guys are in red hot form. I'm led to believe MARSEILLE are at full strength with a whole host of top player’s returning to the squad leaving manager Marcelo BIELSA with a selection headache. MARSEILLE have been a different team from last season and I strongly fancy them to be in the top two this season. NANTES are a solid outfit and are unbeaten in their last 9 league games with the best defence in the division. I think both teams will score in this match and it is quite possible MARSEILLE will take all three points. André-Pierre GIGNAC has netted 11 goals in 14 games this season and will be heavily marked by a well organised NANTES defence but is 7/2 to score fist. MARSEILLE have scored at least 2 goals in their last 6 home matches in Ligue 1 but this is paying well short of evens.
BEST VALUE TIP: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE AT EVEN MONEY
FREIBURG VS. STUTTGART
STUTTGART will be looking for a touch of the ‘new manager syndrome’ when they travel to in-form FREIBURG on Friday night. Huub Stevens is back in the hot seat after saving STUTTGART last season and is back again to kick-start their season after Armin Veh was given the chop. STUTTGART are rock bottom (18/18) whilst the home side FREIBURG are (14/18). The previous head to head meetings are encouraging and the last 4 out of 5 have seen at least three match goals.
To be honest, I’m quite tempted on the 5/2 on offer for a STUTTGART win as they have a good squad of players and in my opinion are better than FREIBURG but I’m tipping the basement boys not to lose tomorrow (Double Chance) @ 7/10. Over 2.5 Match Goals is paying 4/5 and this is a reasonable price and should be considered if you like the goal market.
TIP: STUTTGART NOT TO LOSE 7/10
ALMERE CITY VS. AJAX II
ALMERE CITY have won their last five games on the bounce and will be looking to make this number six when AJAX RESERVES / YOUTH come to visit. They have scored 16 goals in 5 games and are available at even money to win tomorrow. I can’t find any team news but looking at the recent statistics, they shouldn't be ignored at that price. ALMERE to score Over 1.5 Team Goals is 4/7 and are a stand-out 2/1 to score three goals which I think is a cracking price seeing as this has happened in 4 out of their last 6 games.
TIP: ALMERE TO SCORE 2+ TEAM GOALS @ 4/7
PETERBOROUGH have got the ‘Mac Attack’ back together for tomorrow night. Aaron MCLEAN and Craig MACKAIL-SMITH have been reunited in an attempt to fire Darren FERGUSON’S men back into the Championship. BRISTOL CITY are the visitors to London Road on Friday night and this could be a recipe for goals especially in front of the Sky TV cameras. Both have had an early to mid-season wobble with BRISTOL CITY taking just 8 points from a possible 18 whilst PETERBOROUGH have taken just 4. Both teams to score at 4/6 looks a good bet and I can even see three goals being scored and this can be snapped up at 5/6. BRISTOL CITY are a chunky 9/5 to win the game and this is a large price for the league leaders. Aaron WILBRAHAM has scored 9 goals this season and is 6/1 with Bet365 to score first.
TIP: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE @ 4/6
BREST are 4/5 to beat CRETEIL and this is a good price considering BREST have won four on the bounce in the league. CRÉTEIL are always good for an away goal and I think these two should be considered for BTTS at even money. BREST will be going in my £1 BTTS&Win Treble and are available at 10/3. BREST have won their last five home games to nil so CRÉTEIL will want to breach that defence and these guys are always good for an away goal. They have scored 10 goals in their last 11 away games. Second Placed DIJON are a whopping 7/5 to beat rock ARLES. What's the catch? I'm not sure but they are going into the fun bet @ 5/1
