No Bet on Saturday but if you went in with the Vancouver 2+ Goals & Orlando 20+ Booking Points (11/8) then you’d have had an easy winner with the Whitecaps scoring five and Orlando having a man sent off for 35 booking points, plus the rest of their cautions.
I posted a #PriceItUp tweet on Saturday for the Tunisia v Spain game and that came in at 7/5 for those that saw it and followed suit.

I will hopefully have time to put together a piece looking at some specials, so look out for that.
Belgium vs Costa Rica (19:30)
I know I’ve stated before not betting in friendlies however I’m using a tool ahead of the World Cup full of stats for goals, cards and corners and the halves they come in.
The first part of the test was the Spain friendly, which came up with the 7/5 winner, so I’m testing it again in this one with both sides at the World Cup.
Belgium are unbeaten since a friendly defeat at the hands of Spain in September 2016 and this group of players is one of the strongest to achieve, something they’ve failed to do just yet.
In recent friendlies, Belgium have beaten Japan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt all to nil while they were involved in a goalless draw with European Champions Portugal, so they don’t concede many.
They put four past Saudi Arabia and three past Egypt, plus the attacking quality they have suggests they should have far too much for this Costa Rica side, who looked jaded against England after their travelling.
I don’t really know whether to play this risky with a big priced bet or go for something shorter with risk.
There are plenty of request-a-bet’s that appeal in this game with the stats on offer.
Belgium to Score 2+ Goals & 20+ Costa Rica Booking Points (3/1 – Sky Bet) or throw in corners with Belgium to Score 2+ Goals, 5+ Belgium Corners & 20+ Costa Rica Booking Points (100/30 – Sky Bet).
Costa Rica conceded two against England and picked up 20 booking points while they conceded nine corners.
In qualifying, Costa Rica picked up at least one card per game and when you look at their record in recent friendlies then they put themselves about - 20 booking points against England and 40 against Tunisia.
In their recent 3-0 win over Egypt, Belgium obviously got the 2+ goals and they took eight corners. In qualifying, Belgium took five corners in eight of ten matches.
Those two both appeal but I’m surprised at the price of the bet I’ve decided just looks fairly reliable given that Belgium will dominate possession and in their four most recent friendlies, they haven’t received a single card.
Costa Rica have had most booking points in three of their last four friendlies with their home friendly against Northern Ireland going with 0 booking points.
With Romanian whistler Ovidiu Haţegan in charge then I feel there is likely to be cards because the two friendlies he’s refereed in 2018, he’s shown nine yellow cards, so doesn’t really look to change his approach to the game.
The Costa Rica 20+ Booking Points (15/8 – Sky Bet) was also something I’d consider given how much they’ll be forced to press but stick with the simple approach of Costa Rica to have most booking points.
Costa Rica Most Booking Points (11/10 – Sky Bet – 1 point)
