A great start to the month on Sunday with the main bet of BTTS (21/20) landing in Wolves v Sheffield United, while the 8/5 suggestion also copped.

No bet yesterday, but back with a couple of things today.

Firstly, I’ve previewed Crystal Palace v Bournemouth for WeLoveBetting. There are two punts included. Find them here: https://t.co/NXs7Od2r6Z?amp=1

Now, let’s crack on with the main bet.

Lyon v Lille (20:05)

Two sides who are stuck in mid-table level on points clash at the Groupama Stadium in the French top-flight.

Lyon have won four of their last five games and have scored on at least two occasions in each of those games.

Jeff Reinie-Adelaide’s name will be familiar to Arsenal fans and the former Gunner academy product has bagged in each of their wins against Nice and Strasbourg.

The latter was the defining goal in a 2-1 win, while the first opened the scoring early on against Nice. Given he’s popping up in advanced positions the 18/5 with Unibet looks an appealing price for him to grab his third in as many games.

Rudi Garcia’s side has done well to score 24 goals in the league this season because their expected goals rates at only 17.52 showing their outperforming in the final third.

In contrast, Lille rank third for xG in Ligue 1 with 22.42xG and have scored just 19 goals showing they haven’t been as ruthless in front of goal as they should.

That’s probably highlighted in a few of the blanks they’ve drawn lately against Metz and at PSG.

But they did get back to winning ways on Saturday against Dijon with Victor Osimhen netting from the penalty spot. That takes his tally for the season to eight putting him third in the ‘Top Scorer’ standings.

Despite Lille’s struggles on the road – no league away win since April – they’ve have good memories of facing Lyon.

They’re unbeaten in five against them with two wins here (both 2-1) and then three successive 2-2 draws.

With both of these sides doing well in front of goals and having players capable of making an impact, then that high-scoring trend can continue in this fixture making this bet rather appealing at an odds-against price.
